The opposite of condensation is evaporation. Condensation is the process where water vapor in the air turns into liquid water, often seen as dew on grass or droplets on a cold glass. On the other hand, evaporation is the process where liquid water turns into water vapor and rises into the atmosphere.
For example, when you boil water, the liquid water turns into steam, which is water vapor. This is evaporation. Conversely, when steam cools down and turns back into water droplets, that’s condensation.
Both processes are part of the water cycle, which is essential for weather patterns and the distribution of water on Earth.
