Which of the causes of mutations can we not avoid?

Mutations can occur due to various factors, but some causes are inherently unavoidable. One such unavoidable cause of mutations is spontaneous errors during DNA replication. Every time a cell divides, the DNA must replicate itself. While cellular mechanisms work hard to correct errors, mistakes can still occur randomly. These spontaneous mutations are a natural part of the biological process and cannot be completely avoided.

Additionally, there are natural sources of radiation, such as cosmic rays and ultraviolet radiation from the sun, which can also induce mutations. While we can take precautions, we cannot completely eliminate our exposure to these sources of radiation. Therefore, these spontaneous mutations due to replication errors and unavoidable environmental factors are among the causes of mutations that we cannot avoid.
