Work

Activity involving mental or physical effort done in order to achieve a purpose or result.

Work-in-progress

An activity, project, or task that is currently being undertaken but is not yet finished.

Workaholism

Compulsion or excessive need to work excessively hard at the expense of other aspects of life.
