Who is the current emperor of China?

China does not have an emperor in the traditional sense today. The last emperor of China, Puyi, was overthrown in 1912, marking the end of the Qing Dynasty and the imperial system that had ruled China for over two thousand years. Since then, China has been a republic and is now a single-party socialist state governed by the Communist Party of China.

Thus, the country is led by a president, currently Xi Jinping, who holds the title of General Secretary of the Communist Party and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, rather than an emperor.
