Earth is slightly larger than Venus in terms of diameter and volume. Earth has a diameter of about 12,742 kilometers, while Venus has a diameter of approximately 12,104 kilometers. This makes Earth about 1.1 times larger than Venus in diameter.
In terms of volume, Earth is about 1.08 times greater than that of Venus. Although both planets are often referred to as ‘sister planets’ due to their similar size and composition, Earth holds the title for being the larger of the two.
It’s interesting to note that while Venus is often similar to Earth in size, its atmosphere and surface conditions are quite different, making Earth the only known planet to support life.
