The seventh planet from the sun is Uranus. It is known for its unique bluish color and unusual rotation. Unlike most planets in our solar system that rotate on their axis in a similar plane to their orbit, Uranus spins on its side. This means that its axis of rotation is tilted at an angle of about 98 degrees, leading to extreme seasonal variations.
Uranus is also notable for being an ice giant, which means it is composed mostly of water, ammonia, and methane ices, alongside hydrogen and helium. Its atmosphere contains a high percentage of methane, which gives it the distinctive blue hue we observe from Earth. Furthermore, Uranus has a faint ring system and 27 known moons, adding to its intriguing characteristics.
