In the classic story The Wizard of Oz, the Lion’s name is the Cowardly Lion. He is one of the main characters who joins Dorothy on her journey to the Emerald City. The Cowardly Lion is in search of courage, believing himself to be a coward. Throughout the story, he demonstrates bravery and ultimately learns that he had courage within him all along.
