Bram Stoker, the author of the famous novel ‘Dracula,’ suffered from a mysterious illness during his childhood. He was bedridden for several years and was unable to walk or stand. Although the exact nature of his illness was never definitively diagnosed, it is widely believed that he had a form of childhood paralysis, possibly polio. This illness had a significant impact on his early life, but he eventually recovered and went on to lead a successful career as a writer and theater manager.
