Shirley Chisholm did not have any biological children. She was married twice, first to Conrad Chisholm and later to Arthur Hardwick Jr., but neither marriage resulted in children. However, she was known to be a mentor and role model to many young people, often referred to as having a ‘family’ of supporters and mentees who looked up to her for guidance and inspiration.
