In Greek mythology, Ares, the god of war, was not killed by any mortal or deity. Ares is one of the Olympian gods, and like most of them, he is considered immortal. However, there are myths where Ares is defeated or humiliated but not killed. For example, in the Iliad, Ares is wounded by the mortal hero Diomedes with the help of Athena. Despite this, Ares survives and continues to play a role in various myths. The concept of an immortal god means that Ares cannot be killed in the traditional sense.
